ICT Policy Dashboard for Project Monitoring
Overview:
In an increasingly data-driven governance landscape, Shooting Star Ltd., in joint venture with Orange Business Development Ltd., took on the critical responsibility of building a centralized ICT Policy Dashboard. Commissioned by the Skill Development for Mobile Game and Application (3rd Revised) Project, the five-month project aimed to create a powerful digital platform to monitor, manage, and evaluate ICT policy implementation in real time. This initiative represents a turning point in how development projects and policies are tracked across Bangladesh’s ICT sector.
Background:
The ICT Division of the Government of Bangladesh has spearheaded numerous ambitious projects to fuel national digital transformation. Yet, until recently, monitoring and evaluation of these initiatives—particularly their Development Project Proposals (DPPs)—lacked a unified system.
Recognizing this gap, the client initiated the ICT Policy Dashboard to:
- Track the progress of policy-driven projects
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Ensure data-driven decision-making and accountability
The platform was expected to not only serve as an information repository but also provide visualization and analytics tools to improve transparency, performance, and planning.
Our Comprehensive Solutions:
Shooting Star Ltd. developed a full-suite technical and management system that supports government stakeholders in real-time policy oversight. The project was divided into four key phases:
