Integrated Platform for Bangla Text, Speech and Image
Overview:
In alignment with the vision of a Digital Bangladesh, Shooting Star Ltd., in a joint venture with Mysoft Heaven Ltd. and Star-Systech Digital Ltd., is leading the development of an Integrated Platform for Bangla Text, Speech, and Image-Related Service Distribution. This large-scale, 30-month initiative under the Enhancement of Bangla Language in ICT Through Research & Development Project (1st Revised) is backed by the ICT Division and aims to consolidate language-based technologies into one cohesive, intelligent system.
With over 76 staff-months invested, this platform is a national leap forward in linguistically inclusive digital transformation.


Background:
As AI, automation, and language processing shape the global digital landscape, Bangladesh recognizes the urgent need to preserve and enhance Bangla language technology. Despite scattered progress in NLP, speech recognition, OCR, and translation tools, there was no unified platform to host and manage these services efficiently.
This project addresses that gap by:
- Creating a centralized, public-facing portal for users to access Bangla language AI services
- Allowing third-party developers to integrate microservices through a secure API Manager
- Enabling continuous expansion of Bangla-focused tools for research, government, and citizen services

Many users lacked experience with GPS-based tools and cloud systems. - System Integration Across Departments: Synchronizing between field devices, dashboards, and existing platforms posed technical challenges.
